0 commentsWell it was quite a night tonight. If you didn’t hear Chouse and I bought tickets to the Linkin Park concert at the Deltaplex in Grand Rapids for today. Let me tell you Linkin Park put on the best show I’ve seen in a long time, they sound amazing! The Deltaplex is a real small venue too, like were talking not much bigger than the West, Middle, and East wings of Athens Gym (combined). The concert opened with Apex Theory, I had never heard of them before but they were really good. Next was DJ Z-Trip he was pretty straight, I’d like to see him in a club setting, lots of good mixes. After the DJ came Hed(pe) WOW! I had no clue they were gonna be there, I saw them one other time before and they kicked ass again! After Hed came the X-Ecutioners. They are a DJing group with some of the most insane spinning skills I’ve ever seen, they were kinda boring though, they didn’t quiet fit in with the crowd. Finally, Linkin Park, if you have ever heard their CD, “Hybrid Theory” you know how good they sound. Now pretend your at a venue seeing them live, what you hear on the CD is how they sound in person they are amazing! So ya the crowd was out of hand and I got the shit kicked out of me but it was worth it (keep reading.) Anyway, after the show was over I was in line to leave the Deltaplex when all of the sudden I see out of the corner of my eye the entire band come out to sign autographs, so I ran over and had the entire band sign my ticket stub! My night is really kicking ass! Oh ya I got my new issue of Maxim too! Tomorrow, MSU life is good! Below is the picture of my ticket stub click it to enlarge!

0 commentsWell Thanksgiving break wasn’t too bad, I enjoyed the multiple (about 3) dinners that I ate on T-Day and watched the Lions lose their tenth straight game this year. It was great to see Mark, who goes to Miami Of Ohio in Oxford, Ohio. We hit up National Coney Island pretty much as soon as we got home. On Friday we went to DTD (Downtown Detroit) for shits and giggles and on Saturday Lindsey and I went to Canada for the first time after the Sept. 11th incidents. I finally had my opportunity to consume an alcoholic beverage (Sex On The Beach – Just like the cruise Mmmmmmmmmmmm!) It took about 40 minutes to get back to the good ol’ USA but for everyones future refrence BRING BIRTH CERTIFICATE! I had the privalege of also recieving a new cell phone this weekend, my mom got me a Nokia 8260 (click for picture!) for XMAS its kick ass! Thats about all for this week, by the way there are 4 new MSU party pics in the album. When I got back to Grand Valley late Sunday night Evan had a surprise for me (hehehe). We’ll just say it was an enjoyable evening. Monday morning I recieved surprise #2, my ticket to the Linkin Park Concert this Thursday at the Deltaplex in Grand Rapids, me and Chouse, in the pit, kickin’ ass!Â

0 commentsCurrent Song: Busta Rhymes – “Break Ya Neck” –Today kinda blows. GVSU posted our first semester grades. I ended up getting 3 B’s and one C. I shouldn’t have gottin that C. Most of the time it’s the student’s fault for doing shitty in a class. In this case however I’m putting 100% of the blame on my professor. Shes a brand new hire, doesn’t know how to teach, and is clueless to the world. Yes, she is a moron. Writing 150 consists of all students handing in a portfolio of three pieces of work they think are exceptional. This is the only grade for the entire semester. C- is failing the class. I think this is horse shit. I know my three papers were much, much better than C quality. I honestly think if I had another teacher I would have got a B. Well, I don’t know what I’m doing now. Next semester should be easier. I guess I have some good teachers according to Rate My Professors.com, I hope I need to get this GPA over a 3 point.

0 commentsI am having friend withdrawl and its getting bad. In fact, im beginning to have halucinations of my friends from back home. Just today as I was walking to the Padnos Science building after art class I looked up and I swear on my life I saw Erika, later on I thought I saw Mark. I have come up with two conclusions to explain this phenomenon: 1. Due to all the papers and lack of sleep, I’m beginning to suffer from schizophrenia or 2. It’s time for a break from school, a long break. I’m starting to think its schizophrenia so Thanksgiving better get here quick. Well, off to do another paper…
