Canada Eh?
Current Song: none –So this weekend was Canada. Ken, his friend, Brian, and me left from Royal Oak on Friday at about 6 at night. Brian drove in his new Cavalier, which was pretty nice. We got to Canada and immediatly went to the Day’s Inn because we had to check in by 9. We went to our room, lounged around for a bit and then decided to go to the Beer Store. At the Beer Store we each bought a 950 millileter can of beer. Brian got Budweiser and Ken and I got Black Ice. We took that back to the hotel , drank for a while, then decided to go to McD’s for some food. We ate back at the hotel and decided to leave for Bently’s at about 10 or so. Since we weren’t sure where Bently’s was we walked around downtown Windsor for a while, which was freakin cold. Finally, we made it to Bently’s and found some of Ken’s friends from Berkly High School. After we talked for a few we went to the bar and got a beer. After the beer it was time for a Long Island Ice Tea. Very nice, we played some pool, drank our ‘tea’ and then decided to leave Bently’s. Next, we made our way to the Bad Hare. This place was more of a club, they had an actual dance floor unlike Bently’s. Me and Ken decided to live on the edge and have a shot of Captain Morgan’s followed up with a Sex On The Beach (sooo nice). This place was much more fun, the music was great and the atmosphere was much more upbeat. Well, pretty much after that we drank some more, danced some more, drank a little more, and then stumbled back to the hotel around 2:30. After watching Ken hug the toilet for about a half hour I decided it was time for bed. Unfortuantly, for all of us, we had to check out by 11:00 AM so we had to be up at 10 (ouch). Pretty much after we got back into the US it was smooth sailin, except I had to wait with Ken outside his mom’s apartment for an hour because he didn’t have a key to get in. That was my great Friday night! The rest of the weekend was spent at MSU relaxing. Right now I’m about to go downstairs to the lobby to get ready for the Super Bowl Party (Go St. Louis).
