Cornstock
February 27th, 2002Current Song: Slant - “Shoulda Known” –So if any of you GVSUers haven’t heard yet, March 16 in front of the clock tower, we (Copeland House Council, RHA, Niemeyer, and GVA) are holding a huge rock concert called CORNSTOCK. We have 13 kick ass bands that will be playing from 10 AM until about 11:30 PM. The bands included are: Formerly Known, Drop The One, Five Times Fast, Walkabout, Retained, Jim Crawford Band, D~Syfer, Cycle, Phoenix Down, Joyride, Stasis, and our bad ass main stage band, Slant. 97.9 WGRD is going to be there broadcasting live as well. We will also be selling CORNSTOCK shirts (see below). Any profit we make from this event will be going to the American Cancer Society. You all have to come to this, its going to be one of the best times you’ll have this year. Speaking of Slant, they are about to least their newest CD entitled, “The Right Amount Of Rock”.
