Back in the Valley
March 11th, 2002Current Song: Nappy Roots - “Aw Nah” –First off, download this Nappy Roots song its killer! I guess I can start off with where I previously left off during Spring Break, that would be uhm I think Thursday. Thursday I ended up sitting around most of the day. I met up with J at the mall, we ended up just going to Steve and Leigha’s new apartment to play video games for the rest of the night. On Friday, I went to the Detroit Institute of Arts with Styczinski, Blust, and Lovell. Mike had to draw a sketch of one of the rooms (he did an amazing job way to be an architect) and Jessica had to see something or other to write a paper on. Me and Jackie went for shits and giggles. After the D.I.A. we went back to Jax’s house to hang out, eventually we decided to see a movie. At 10:40 we headed for the ghetto dollar theater (actually $2.00, but you get the idea), we saw “Training Day.” It was the most crooked cop movie you’ll ever see, it was definetly worth my 2 bucks. Saturday, Lindsey finally came home. She got me a cool blue shot glass from Chi-Town (Shy, not Chi or is it Ky hah). Nothing good really happened besides that. On Sunday Lindsey and I went back to state, I stayed the night which brings me to today. This morning my mom called to tell me my little sister got lice (oh hooray, of course it happens right after my week long spring break of being home), I think I’m clear of it. After that ordeal I went outside and I had a parking ticket *sigh*. If there was one glimmer of sunshine today, if you wanna call it sunshine, it was the fact that MSU sent me a letter. Pretty much it says that my status will be determined after review of my final semester grades, not good, not bad. I won’t be going to MSU for the rest of the year, only if Andy has a party. Im gonna try and study a little more on the weekends, I’m not blowing this. Well it’s almost time for me to go lift so enjoy the night.
