0 commentsCurrent Song: Bone Thugs & Harmony – “1st Of The Month” –Well the first of the crew left today. Sarah departed about a half hour or so ago. It was really sad, she was crying really hard which didn’t help anything. She is my Dynamic Duo partner for life! Next to leave is the roomate, Evan is out at 6:15 or so, tonight is the first night I will ever sleep in my room by myself it’s kinda weird. Later tonight Achterhoff is leaving, I’m gonna have to say bye before he leaves because I think I need to go to the library. Ryan just left, the only “Tri-Lam” I ever really talked to. Stephany and Ben are leaving tomorrow, I’m sure that will be rough. It’s okay though because I’m sure I will come visit next year. Ken will have his own room from being an R/A and Steph and Sarah will have an apartment always stocked with Corona so thats a positive. I am not going to miss this school, really, just the people. I guess that’s all for now, actually this is it for my first freshman year in college wow. Soon the GVSU Experience will be transforming into… you guessed it, the “MSU Experience” crazy shit. 0 commentsCurrent Song: None, watching “Dracula, Dead and Loving It” –Well, if anyone out there actually reads what I write here I’m just apologizing for the lack of updats as of late. I’ve been very busy working with Charlie Korn. I am helping him put together a RoleModel Records website so his presence can be felt by more people. You all should go take a look at the site, it’s up and coming but make sure to leave him a note on the message board, the address is rolemodelrecords.com. Anyway, I don’t have too much else to say. I’m outta here in 4 days, but I have to get through 5 finals first blah. So, I’ll be busy studying and what not. Maybe I’ll get one more post before I leave, if not, as soon as I get home. Otherwise, good luck on finals everyone.

0 commentsCurrent Song: Nothing, because Evan is trying to sleep –Yes, long sigh, it’s been a crazy few days here, thus the lack of updating (sorry Devynn). We just had a hard core thunderstorm which was pretty straight. Oh, oh, I have a story for you all. Today I went to Economics just like any other day. The first thing I notice, everyone has their papers out, ya know the paper that is worth 120 points of our grade. So I say to Sarah Van Dyke, the chick next to me, “Those papers are so not due today”. She says, “Uhm ya they are”. Enter stress and panic. So I completely freak out, I fully misinturpreted the syllabus by thinking that, “due the last week of class” was before the final, I guess I was wrong. So, after class I walk up to Roberta (Bobby) Biby, and I start with, “I know you said in the beginning of the year you don’t take late papers-” and she interupts me and says, “Oh no you didn’t” and I say, “Ya, I completely thought you ment it was due before the final (cue the cracking voice and teary eyes) and it’s not like me to just not do it ya know, I’ve done all my homework (blah blah blah)”. So she eventually gives up and allows me to hand it on Tuesday *whew*. Anyway, thats about all for now, however I am going to leave you with this quality picture of Devynn’s little (and by little I mean freshman) sister, Austynn (far left) and her two friends in bikkinis (just click the thumbnail already ok!?). 0 commentsCurrent Song: Dave Mathews Band – “Lie In Our Graves (Live in Chicago)” –First, HAPPY 19th BIRTHDAY J! Ok, so 2 weeks ago it was like 40 degrees and no one likes cold weather, it sucks. However, being at college with the hot weather we’ve been having (75+ degrees) really sucks. No A/C hot as hell, hard to sleep its disgusting. I think all colleges need to invest in AC for their living centers for real. Don’t get me wrong, I love the weather, but once it gets hot you want to be able to go inside where it’s a little cooler. I think the temp is supposed to drop a little this week so I guess today is my last day to complain. I do plan on taking advantage of the sun today while I lay around outside and get tan. On a side note, today the ‘SummerTime Countdown Clock’ (on the left) got down in the single digits, only 9 days, 3 class days, and 4 final days left how exciting! Aight, im out, peace.

0 commentsCurrent Song: BT – “Race Wars” –Let me tell you, this weekend was intense thats fo sho. Friday, Lindsey’s mommy came to State and brought me a congratulations cake, it was real good too. She took us out to Red Lobster as well, which was tight. In return I had the privlage of taking the loft down and that was exciting. Friday night we went to Andy’s house once again for one last party. It was a fun filled night of poker playing and nasty beer drinkin. On Saturday, I attempted to fix my subwoofer/car stalling problem, but was unsuccessful. Saturday night me, Lindsey, Dave, Chaz, Em, Katie, and Brooke ate dinner at Crunchy’s. Around 10 or so Lindsey and I went to Tom’s Congratulations to me/Just having a huge party, party. This place was fun as always. A lot of Athens band jocks were there. Amy and Megan Carnegie, Devynn Reins, Matt Wills, Kim and Erika also showed up, and then all the other usuals (M-Star, Megan, Tom, Kathy, Bez, Mike, etc., etc.). The cops came, but were cool because no one was running around outside being stupid. We ended up dancing on tables and starting some kind of messed up dance line in the middle of the living room, it was whack, but lots of fun. I’m gonna have a lot of crazy pictures, however they won’t be up for about 2 more weeks because I’m saving my last 7 pictures for my last day here at Grand Valley. Anyway, I had a fantastical amazingly fun weekend, oh ya, Lindsey got me a phat MSU sticker for my car! Well, only a few more class days left, 3 to be exact and then 4 days of finals. I can’t wait for the summer, workin with Kenny, makin cash, buyin things (cough Pulsar cough). I’m off for now, gotta study for Econ test tomorrow! BLAH!
