Old Miami Show
Current Song: Abrasive Method – “Vengeance” –For real, Wednesday night was off the hook. If you haven’t heard I went home to go a show with my Abrasive Method boys. The show was at Old Miami on Cass near Warren street in Cass Coridor (IE: The Ghetto’s ghetto). Barone drove us down there which was an adventure in its own. We got lost in Detroit, always a good thing right? I ended up calling Mark, the God of Directions, he ended up getting us to where we needed to go. Old Miami is pretty much a hole in the wall, but its got a tight atmosphere inside. I got to meet a few of the Detroit rappers like Backstab [the Kingpin] and Bee, she was the chick that made it to the semi-finals in Puffy’s Makin the Band. The guys didn’t get onstage till about midnight, but they did an awesome job I thought especially for it being the first time on stage they’ve all performed together. After Saturdays game, me and Lindsey are headed back to Detroit for another Abrasive Method show at Jumbo’s Bar in Detroit. Should be tight, lots of AHS graduates going.
