Welcome Week

Current Song: Abrasive Method – “If You Knew” –Yay for welcome week thats for sure. It’s been a crazy past few days here lots of partying, you know how it goes. Last night I went to P-Dizzles crib way out on Grand River and Hagadorn. Just about everyone made it out for this 2 keg event. Emily’s friends from back home showed up, Ryan and Buf made it. On our long walk home (consisting of Lindsey, Buf, and I) we stopped at Belles for an 89 cent slice of pizza and ran into Jill, Erin, and Katie. Buf ended up walking all the way back to the Oaks and I walked all the way back to Holden from University Terrace (for the 2nd night in a row). Tonight Lindsey is having a keg at her apartment, Kim is having people over at her place, and Buf and Jeremy are having a keg at there apart. so my options are plentiful.

On a side note, I’ve been running everyday for the past week and I’m now getting shin splints, shitty. Unfortuantely last night I didn’t go to bed until 3 AM drunk and I got up at 9 to run all the way past UT to pick up the car.  

Black Outs, Mansions, & MSU

Current Song: Jay Z – “Excuse Me Miss Again (La La La)” –Well, I survived the 26 hours of black out time. On August 13th at 4:14 PM all of Southeastern Michigan, New York, Ohio, and parts of Canada went completely dark as a power grid (supposedly in Ohio) overloaded and shut down. It was the worst 26 hours ever mainly because the humidity was so incredibly high.Yesterday my roomate, Ryan, hosted a small get together at his bosses phat house in Bloomfield Hills. The whole crew was there (Fresh, Pmac, E Grant, and Styz showed up too). The majority of the time was spent on the trampoline. Around 11:30 we left that joint and headed over to my house for a “bon-fire” if you want to call it that, more like 3 logs and a can of gasoline. In other news, today I moved back into MSU. I’m in 215 East Holden so come by and visit. I’m one of the only people up here right now cause I moved in like a week early. I’m sure soon enough there will be plenty of pictures of Welcome Week Parties so keep checkin.

BGSU

Current Song: Underworld – “Cowgirl” (Techno) –Last night was the long awaited trip to Bowling Green State University in Ohio. I drove up with Cook and Jason (Paul, Justine, and Ashley came up seperate). Along our journey we stopped at a McDonalds just past Monroe in which a family of 3 white kids and 15 black ones dined. Well, they weren’t really a family, they were with a church group (see picture below and tell me that isn’t racist considering how many black kids there are). We got to Cooks’ apartment around 10(?) or so. His crib is really nice, 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, living room, kitchen the whole deal. We didn’t really do too much once we were there, basically just chilled the whole night. We watched some hoe get McGriddles thrown at her naked body on Howard Stern and some other fool get shot in the ass with a paintball gun. A pretty relaxing night, I had fun. Still Alive

Current Song: Linkin Park – “Don’t Stay” –Well, I’m still alive-barely. This past weekend I went to the 2003 Buick Open at Warwick Hills Country Club in Grand Blanc with Ryan and Mr. E, took a few shots of Tiger and Furyk. It was a beautiful day on Saturday, very comfortable in the shade but hot as hell in the sun. I don’t have too much to say, otherwise. Friday I’m going to Bowling Green with Cook and PMac that will be tight for sure. Anyway, thats about all for now.
