First MSU Cabin Party

November 12th, 2003

Current Song: Eminem feat. Dr. Dre - “If I Get Locked Up Tonight” As you all know last Friday was the first MSU Cabin Party. We didn’t leave MSU until like 5:30, WAY off schedule and we had way too many uneccesary stops along the way. We ended up not even getting to the cabin until almost 9:30 but that wasn’t a huge deal. When I walked into the dark cabin I had a feeling something was outta place. I turned the lights on and what did we see? Thousands of dead and alive lady bugs. They were all over the ceiling and all over the kitchen floor. Not exactly what I was expecting and most certainly not what the people that have never been to the cabin were waiting for. As if that wasn’t bad enough when we tried to vacuum them up we realized 2 things. 1.) Vacuum #1 didn’t work and 2.) Vacuum #2 worked well, but the bag was full. So I left everyone at the cabin to start drinking while Kaitlyn and I ventured to the liquor store next to the Oasis for firewood and then into the Ludington area to Meijors so we could buy a few things IE. vacuum bags, antibacterial wipes, doritoes, beer, etc etc. On the way back from Meijors I was speeding down US 10 East when a westbound police officer drove past me and fully U turned. Oh ya, I got pulled over, but luckily the cop was cool and I told him the whole lady bug story and he let me off. By the time we got back most everyone was drunk and we still had to clean up. It didn’t take too long to get the vacuuming done and the rest of the cleaning. I’d say by about 11 everyone was partying and gettin stupid. The rest of the night was this and that and that and this, a few stories here and there but nothing super amazing to mention. The pictures from the cabin are now up.

On a sidenote, I have a few more pictures from the DIRRTY Jenga Night that Kim took and boy are they cute, you can see them at the bottom of the dirrty jenga page.

On another sidenote the following two pictures were taken at Jeremy’s place one night when we were all hanging out, they were so cute I had to put them up. (The poor quality of the picture is because I took pictures of the pictures with my digital camera instead of scanning)
