DETROIT BASKETBALL

Current Song: None at the moment So I know it’s been a few days since the Pistons beat the L.A. Lakers 4 games to 1 (DET: 100 / LA: 88 Final score, final game) but I HAVE to give them props on my website. I mean, these guys were unbelievable. So many people thought LA was a given to win (8 to 1 odds in Vegas? Yea right) but Detroit showed them from game 1 through game 5 (minus the exception of a few minutes in Game 2’s Overtime) that they were all business.

Going to work.

That’s their motto, and they believe in that 110%. The Piston’s have such a well rounded and unselfish team and I truely believe thats what got them the Larry O’Brien trophy. They play as a team, unlike L.A. where most of the time Shaq and Kobie are held high upon a pedastal and always looked to, to get things done.

I’d also like to add one more thing. I’m a big fan of Jimmy Kimmel, however, he definetly talked a lot of shit about Detroit winning and rioting or whatever. I just want to say that I am very proud of the way the Detroit fans handled themselves. Everyone had a blast, no one burned or tipped over cars (or couches for that matter right?).

Anyway, big props to the Piston’s, National Champions, bringing the gold home to the D baby!

No Clue

Current Song: Pink Floyd – “Wish You Were Here” I suppose it’s time for another summer update. I know they are few and far between but shit, I’m a busy kid. Let’s see, where to start…I can tell this post is going to be somewhat of a rant…

Amy has been in Spain now for about 3 weeks she seems to be enjoying herself and the wine from what I hear. Her host family is very nice she says. She was in Madrid last weekend, said it was great but the people can be douche bags to American’s. Then again, if I lived in Europe would I like Americans? Who knows.

Work has been, well, work. I usually end up working at least 5 or 6 days a week. Wednesday’s are my usual day off however, I’ve been getting Monday and Friday off for the past 2 weeks. Nothing wrong with that though.

I’ve been keeping up with the summer work out routine. Lift every other day and run on the off day’s. I enjoy it for the most part, the MP3 player helps me through it all.

Most of my free time is spent either watching Sopranos on DVD, hanging out with friends or Amanda, sleeping, or working on the new RoleModel Records website. My life isn’t too exciting what can I say.

Sorry there hasn’t been too many photo opportunities as of late, hence no update in the photo album. But Troy is boring, its not like parties occur here every weekend like at Michigan State. Maybe I’ll make an effort to do something exciting soon…

The Piston’s are in the Final’s for the first time since the like 1990’s Bad Boy Era which is bad ass. Tonight is game 4 (Piston’s lead 2-1). I hope they can take it to those LA bastards again. I hate the Lakers. If they win the NBA Championship I’ll do something crazy. I don’t know what though.

My Nextel i90 is semi-broke. The right hinge broke off and its hanging by a thread. Thus, the new i730 will be mine soon (tomorrow hopefully).

I should put up a new picture of the week. But I don’t know which one… let me look… OK, I like this one. It’s Mark, Ryan, and I from when we were in Canada at the beginning of summer 2003. This was a great night, all I remember was taking a picture inside Cheetah’s almost getting my camera taken away from the Windsor Police (fuckers) and stealing a Burger King sign.

I guess thats it for now. I hope you are having a more eventful summer than myself.
