0 commentsCurrent Song: Jay-Z – 22 Two’s –So here’s the deal, we decided (Me and Kimberly) that we’re gonna have this Halloween bash at the crib this year. I suggested we make it a 40 party so we don’t have to spend a ton of money on buying a keg or what have you. So here’s the info you need:
- When: Sunday, October 31st, 2004 about 9 PM
- Where: The Landing (North Abbott, across from Chandler’s) Building 6, Aprt. 631 (3rd floor)
- RULE #1: EVERYONE must wear a costume and seriously nothing stupid like “I’m a sweat pants model” (hah sorry Katie)
- RULE #2: We’re asking everyone please bring at least 2 40’s of whatever kind of beer / malt liquor you want. We’re going to fill a bathtub with ice and put all the 40’s in it and then people are gonna have to reach into some sort of container filled with some “halloween type substance” and pull out a indicator for which 40 they get. So you don’t get to pick what your drinking, you can trade or whatever, its just for fun and if everyone brings 2 fourties than everyone gets 2. The point is, there won’t be a keg here, however if a lot of you tell me your going to come then a jungle juice type mix may be concocted…

0 commentsCurrent TV: Family Guy –Yea so basically the past 3 days and the next 3 days will be studying. I have 2 tests on Tuesday, Abnormal Psychology, my hard one, and Criminal Justice my really easy one. So it sucks. This weekend I’m going to Amanda’s cousins Christening in Bay City, that will be a lovely 2.5 hour drive for sure. Sunday I might take the practice GRE test cause its free and I gotta take it at some point. I also updated the Picture of the “Week”, in quotes because obviously I don’t update it that often. Anyway, this is a picture of me and Michelle at Katie’s 21st birthday at Maggie’s Bar.Thats bout it for now, I’ll hollar soon.

0 commentsCurrent Song: Dave Matthews Band – “Don’t Drink The Water” –Yesterday I saw Dave Matthews Band in concert for the first time ever and it was great! I went with Amanda, Jeremy, and Katie to the Palace of Auburn Hills early Sunday evening (about 6:30 PM). On the bill besides DMB was, Jurassic 5, and Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals. Amanda and I had upper level seats but in the 3rd row, they were pretty decent and Katie and Jeremy had back floor seats. We came in just as Ben Harper started and he played a great set. Sometime around 8:30 the Palace went dark and the crowd began to cheer. Finally, dim purple and blue lights came on as the band came out onto the stage. Dave opened with a great version of “One Sweet World” followed by “Granny”. One of the things I liked the best was the really creepy extended intro to “Don’t Drink The Water” they played. Towards the end of the set Dave announced that they were going to bring out “a friend” to play with them. Next thing you know, freakin Neil Young comes out and jams with Dave for 3 songs! They played “Watchtower”, and then two of Neil’s songs, “Cortez, The Killer” a DMB favorite, and “Rockin’ in the Free World” with Neil Young’s wife, Peggy Young singing backup vocals. For the most part I greatly enjoyed the show, I was a little dissapointed that they didn’t play “Two Step” or “Warehouse” but what can you do? Dave definetely met my expectations for how well the band performed, they sounded amazing even inside the Palace I can’t wait to see them again.
Today I had my first Psych Statistics test, it wasn’t super hard so I think I did good, plus we get bonus points on the exam for doing makeup questions so I’m not too worried about it. This week shouldn’t be too bad, I have my first spanish test on Friday and then after that I’m going home to see Laura at AHS’s Homecoming because she is on court! We all know Laura is the baller in our family haha. Anyway, have a great week.
