As you may have noticed, the website once again has been changed. I love the Detroit skyline layout theme! The photo gallary header and footer are currently misaligned and the bread crumb link is still not working but I’m trying to get this taken care of soon.Â
This weekend was great, Friday night I went to Ackerman’s apt and played some drunken games with her and some other cool people and then Dave and I went to the WAB and hung out with Devynn (and her mom!), and Kelly, Megan, and Christine.Â
On Saturday, I went to Uhrig’s birthday party at Ernie’s in Clinton Township. The venue was a little bit more uhm… middle aged and a tad over-priced but fun none-the-less. Afterwards, I headed over to Megan’s bad ass house and continued the party with her and Dave, Kelly, John, and Craig. We played this great game called Apple’s to Apple’s which was highly entertaining! I love the weekends that is for sure.
On a sad note, Ryan’s 6 year old cousin Kate passed away the other day. She had brain stem cancer that she has been fighting for at least a year. When something like this happens you gain instant perspective on your life. All the little stuff no longer matters, it makes you wonder why things like this happen. It truely makes you appreciate your life much more.
Rest in Peace Kate (9/12/00 – 1/27/07)

Well it’s been about 8 days since I returned home from Europe and let me tell you it definetly took 7 days for my sleep schedule to return to somewhat of a normal state. When I got back I got some semi-bad (all explain why it isn’t terrible all together). My boss called to tell me that he had to lay me off due to the company not doing quite as well as it should be, essentially they weren’t gonna have enough money to continue to pay me. The reason I call this semi-bad is because, yes it sucks that I have no job and no income, but now I am using this time to persue getting my CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certificate. The goal is to have it completed before summer classes start, this leads me into the next objective: going back to school. I am pretty certain that I would like to go after a Management Information Systems degree at Oakland starting this summer. I am definetly about to be broke thats all I know. I am trying to find a job that isn’t too ridiculous, something to just keep a steady flow of income in. I applied at Camp Ti and I’m thinking about going to Best Buy tomorrow to find out if they’re hiring, either way I gotta find something.
This weekend should be good, I don’t know whats goin down but we will find something! Coyote Joes perhaps? It’s been a while since I’ve been there, I’d like to check it out and see if the dude attendance level has dropped, because last time I was there I felt like I was at a frat party.Â
I guess that’s all for now. Maybe some pictures this weekend, we’ll see!

I finally got my act together and added “all” my pictures of the Amsterdam trip into the photo gallary, so check those out. Amsterdam was absolutley amazing, the architecture, the culture, the museums, the people, were all great! Everyone is so chilled out in Amsterdam (I wonder why?) and incredibly nice (trust me, asking directions happened more than once). One of the coolest spots we went to was the Van Gogh Museum. They had not only his permanant exhibit but also a expressionalism exhibit. I wish I could have updated this daily while I was in Amsterdam so you could get the real feel for what was going on, on a daily basis, but alas, it was not possible. Possibly the best way for you to really get a feel for what happend is to check out the pictures, so please do that.
Since my attempt to go to Paris failed (train was full) I definetly can say I would love to go back to Europe. I definetly would like to go longer than a week next time, 7 days was just not enough to see everything. Some possible future destinations include, France, Spain, Italy, and Switzerland.

I’m sorry for the delay in the posting of Europe news and pictures, like I said in my previous post the hotel didn’t have freely available internet. I got home yesterday at 3:30 in the afternoon or so and basically just unpacked. I went to bed last night at 1:30 AM (which was like 8:30 AM the next day for me on Amsterdam time) and I woke up about 15 hours later the next day. I still have some unpacking and organizing to do but I promise pictures and updates will be coming within the next day or so.
