Michigan State > #1 Wisconsin
February 22nd, 2007Current TV: Future Cars - The Fuel - On Tuesday, the Michigan State men’s basketball
team played THE game of the season against #1 ranked Wisconsin and pulled off a huge upset. Drew Neitzel had an amazing perforance launching 3 balls through the net with just 3 minutes left which helped MSU to take the lead and eventually win the game. Neitzel finished with 28 points. It really was one of the most exciting basketball games I’ve watched this year, I think there was something like 14 lead changes and 4 ties through the game. You know I had to go get a screenshot of ESPN.com’s homepage after that game was over to post on here!
Let’s see what else is going on… Not too much in all honesty. I’m still working on getting a j-o-b. CCNA studying has been put on hold the past two weeks so that I can become familiarized and accustomed to running in a Linux-based enviornment. The reason for this being, my cousin, Matt, in California hit me up a few weeks ago and told me a job opened at the company he works at (Pretty Good Privacy). He thought I may be experienced enough but just in case he has me doing all kinds of things to get me ready for a potential interview (that he may be giving me). If I DID get the job, I would be essentially moving to Utah, which I am more than okay with. The other potential job possibility is at Blue Cross Blue Shield in Detroit. Mark, let me in on some insider info that a software testing job in IT would be opening soon so I jumped on that real fast and gave him my resume to hand in. Between the two jobs, I’d rather have the PGP job in Utah, not because I want to leave my family and friends, but because it would look better for me on my resume in the future (not that Blue Cross wouldn’t, but PGP is in the sector of work I prefer to be in).
Well, that’s about all for now. I have to get up early tomorrow to clean out some house with the Grockstar. I’m getting paid 10 bucks an hour for this, but I have to drive all the way to Gothem City (AKA downriver, Southgate). Oh well, I can’t turn down an opportunity to make some money.
