St. Pattie’s and Dave’s Birthday

Last weekend was St. Patricks Day, AKA a reason to go to the bar all day.  Dave, Justin, Sue, and myself went to Joe Kools sometime around 12:30 in the afternoon to get some food and basically just hang out until the evenings festivities.  Sometime around 3 or so Justin and Sue left and Megan and Kelly arrived.  Kelly was already 6 shots deep as she swirved into the bar and almost immediately dropped her digi cam and broke it (yet, somehow Megan fixed it).  Mark showed up sometime around 4:30 and hung out before he had to go to his parents house, but before he did that he dropped Dave and I off at Mr. B’s so we could reserve tables for our large guest list.

Around 7 people began to arrive at Mr. B’s, as it was Ryan’s birthday the guest list was larger than a normal day out in the city of tomorrow…today.  There was about 14 of us enjoying green beer, some of us enjoying irish car bombs, and none of us enjoying the last band that played there that night.  At the end of the evening a few of us walked from B’s back to my house to crash, it was a brisk 2 mile walk that I actually kinda enjoyed.

This past Thursday was Dave’s birthday (big 2-4!).  Since Megan’s grandparents were out of town we decided to use their house as the party destination on Friday (the day we celebrated).  Kelly made an amazing mud pie thing with gummy worms and crushed up oreos which was a big hit.  The night was pretty much random though, we tried to play Apples to Apples but it just wasn’t working.  Then drama started which I will not get into.  But it was still a good night.

I was going to use this spot to talk about future events coming up, but, I don’t think there are any future events.  Maybe we can convince Megan to take us to Caseville!?  Maybe not.  Also the parents are leaving for 7 days the first week of April, that will be my official spring break time and I cannot wait.

I still haven’t updated the photo gallery (see Facebook for all new photos) because I haven’t been able to get the Word Press Gallery plugin to work properly.  I am still attempting to fix this by talking to people in the WPG2 Forum so hopefully soon I can have the updated gallery.

The House Gathering (AKA Party)

Current Music: Gym Class Heroes – “1st period: The Queen and I” – On Friday Laura and I hosted a “get together” at the Nalette Estate.  The result was 90% Laura’s friends and 10% mine.  But, nonetheless it was a good time.  Many people chose kitchen-block-beer-pong as the accepted form of entertainment while others, including myself, just chose to wander around and mingle with everyone.  The party started at about 9:30 or so and really didn’t die out until…. what 5 AM?  Sounds about right, considering I didn’t get to go to sleep until 6.

If anyone who still comes to this website to read about whats going on in my life and is checking out the photo gallery, you may notice that not a lot of updates are in the 2007 folder.  This is because I haven’t come across an answer to why my breadcrumb links (the links at the top of the pictures that link you back to the previous level of navigation) are still not working properly.  I have been trying to get this fixed for a few weeks by writing in the Gallery2 Forum and the WPG2 Forum (Gallery2 is the name of the gallery program I use that manages the photos and WPG2 is the name of the plugin that integrates my website into the Gallery).  Unfortunatley, thus far, only dead ends have come up, but I promise that as soon as it gets fixed there will be a ton of photos being posted.

I still haven’t heard from Utah, however, this week is looking up for that.  I did hear from Quicken Loans IT dept. which was a little random but I should be talking to them tomorrow.  I need a job ASAP thats all I know…   Â
