LappyTappy Is Dead
November 16th, 2007My laptop is currently dead. I have been having numerous problems with it (from what it seems) since I installed the newest version of AIM 6.5. I have been having many network connection problems coupled with poor performance so I have decided to reformat and reinstall Vista. Unfortunately, my Vista installation cd is not giving me the option to repair or install upon startup, so I had to download a formating utility (which is currently running and literally is going to take 60 hours to format the entire drive). Hopefully by the end of this weekend I will have it all back up and running so that I can put the pictures online from the BYU vs TCU game. It was a lot of fun by the way! Me, Billy, a bunch of Mormon girls aching to get married, what can be better? Anyway, like I said, hopefully this weekene d we can get a full update in.

What the heck kind of formatting utility are you running?? 60 hours?? I’d say your hard drive is shot if it’s going to take that long. Vista CD won’t let you do a clean install when you boot off it? Why bother formatting?
