Thanks for Voting for “Change”
Yes, I’m aware we are not even 100 days deep into Barack Obama’s presidency but has anyone else (besides Mark and Tony) realized that every single time that guy opens his mouth to talk about the economy the stock market drops like the Coyote with an Acme parachute? It’s seriously ridiculous. No, I didn’t vote for him, in fact no one in my family did (except one person who fell into the “Change Trap”) but I seriously had hope at the beginning that he would succeed, probably because of how well his speeches were executed. But as the weeks started to go by we started to get more and more details of what Barack wants to do and in my humble opinion he’s trying to do too much too fast.  Sure his plan is ambitious but by the end of all the spending he’s doing we’ll be 2 trillion dollars, at least, in debt. Yeah, yeah, let’s blame the first trillion on Bush, that’s fine but you can only do that for so long.  The 800 billion “stimulus” package that he signed through a few weeks ago will do anything but stimulate the economy, in my opinion, there should be more tax cuts.  By the way, what happened to the whole “trimming the fat” and getting rid of earmarks that he consistantly spoke of when trying to rebut McCain during the campaign? I’m pretty sure he just signed a 400 billion dollar omnibus spending bill that has over 1000 wasteful expenditures in it like pig flatulance studies, dog parks, upgrading government offices, etc. Obama, unfortunately, is an amateur and just doesn’t have the experience to be President of the United States. I’m not ready to throw him under the bus yet, because I truely do want him to succeed but I am losing faith incredibly quickly. By the way, I hate Nancy Palosi. I don’t need to back that statement up, just watching her stand up to clap for Obama during his congressesional speech every 30 seconds is enough for me, not to mention shes ugly and obnoxious. I just wanted to get that off my chest, thanks.
